I'm drawn to angular, simple shapes, and to making functional things that could almost look mass-manufactured — until you notice the hand in them. Even when a piece seems a little off, somehow it comes together.
Pottery is the hobby I get to share with the people I love. I'm part of a collective of friends — Pottery Pals — and the connection with the people who'll actually use my pots is what keeps me at the wheel.
Every piece starts in natural light. It reveals texture, tells time, and brings out the soul in the clay. It's a reminder to slow down — and that reminder is baked into every mug, bowl, and little oddity I make.
